Yesterday 19 students who were studying Japanese in Fukuoka experienced homemade udon-noodle making! First of all, they were divided into 4 groups, then stepping on wrapped udon-dough in Japanese style room. Then each group kneaded the dough with hands. Next they rolled out the dough, then cut it thinly.
Our chef,a.k.a a udon specialist boiled the noodles, fried very delicious burdock tempura in front of them & served tasty udon soup that was specially made for this event!
The noodles of Boy's group were a little thick but the texture was great & tasty!
Our chef got a special Hong Kong present from them.
