World Cooking Lesson-80% repeat customer ratio

天神 Tenjin

Xmas is just around the corner. We think Xmas day December 25th but some countries celebrate Xmas on January 7th following Gregorian calendar. ( December 25th x mas is from Julian calendar)
Russia is one of them. This month World Cooking lesson offered some special Russian recipes; traditional borsch, beef stroganoff and jam for Russian tea.

First we finely chopped vegetables & meat. The tutor Belle brought some fresh beets that were quite rare in Japan. Then we stir-fried vegetables and boiled meat removing scum. We actually made sour cream by fresh cream and yogurt, which tasted so good.

ベル先生が持って来たマトリョーシカ人形でお料理がよりいっそうおいしそうですね!
The Matryoshka doll Bell brought makes the meal more delicious! Don't you think?
The beef stroganoff we cooked was totally different from Japanese one. What we've eaten so far, we all thought. Borsch actually originates from Ukraine. This time we had a Canadian guest whose grandmother is Ukrainian and he told the borsch of Belle's recipe was really good! Such a compliment !
We had 40 % of male guest, 20 % of English-speaker guest and our 80 % of repeat customers this month!
Thank you very much for joining our the last World Cooking lesson this year. Happy holidays and hope to see you soon!!
