Fukuoka is now in the middle of the famous festival ‘Hakata Dontaku’, with the most spectators for a festival in Japan. The number of the visitors is estimated over 2 million every year. Some travelers also visited SUiTO FUKUOKA for culture experiences!
Today we had 6 guests from Yokohama, Osaka and Tokyo for Pollack roe tasting.
They tasted and compared 5 different brands of mentaiko (Pollack roe). The salty mentaiko goes great with steamed rice from Saga. They also tasted savory & tasty omelet with mentaiko in, which is specially made by the Japanese chef.Thank you very much for coming all the way to SUiTO FUKUOKA.
