In this tour, we will take a train to visit Dazaifu Tenmangu shrine which is located 17km away from the center of Fukuoka city.

Dazaifu Tenmangu half day tour

In this tour, we will take a train to visit Dazaifu Tenmangu shrine which is located 17km away from the center of Fukuoka city.  The shrine is built over the grave of Sugawara no Michizane who lived in the Heian period (845–903). You will learn a history behind and how to pray properly in Shinto way.  After visiting the shirine, we walk a pathway where has many small shops such as cafes, sweets, souvenirs and you will try Umegaemochi a famous sweets in Dazaifu. We take a community bus to go to Kamado shrine which is located near the station. After the tour, ｗe take a train back to Tenjin.
