Furusato-kaikan: This is the tourist spot where you can learn about Hakata culture and festival. Machiya building is registered as an urbane house of Fukuoka cultural assets. You can see how a Japanese craftsperson makes traditional craftworks here everyday.

■ Price with consumption tax included.

■ We accept reservation on the day.

■ Payment: pre-payment (credit card).

■ Wear casual clothes as you might get some paint or stained.

■ Option: Let us know if you are a large group of participants (Over 5 people to 20 people) or if you would like to do this experience not during the opening hours indicated above. In those cases an additional 15,000 yen will be charged as a lesson fee.
