At cursive art class, we learnt how to use a calligraphy pen; it is like a fountain pen with calligraphy brush on top. The cursive art teacher highly recommended 'Pentel' pens. She said it was the best calligraphy pen ever.
(Pentel is the most famous stationary bland in Japan. )

 

First we wrote 'arigato' (thanks in Japanese) in our own way. Then she gave us her arigato copy that was really artistic. We practiced arigato many times following the teacher's instructions. About 1-hour-practice, we were finally able to write arigato very cool!

 

 

In the end of lesson, we made a　fancy New Year's card! Join us next time and you'll become a calligraphy artist!
