Hi everyone !

Today, let's talk about another park, far less famous than the park of Ohori ! Not many people know it, and I feel like it's too bad !

This park, is actually called the Imaizumi park, but everyone calls it the sankaku park (sankaku means triangle).
It's in the center of the city, not far from the train stations, but the atmosphere is surprisingly relaxing once you find yourself walking through this small park.

今日紹介したい場所は大濠公園より全然有名ではない公園です！それはとても残念なことだと思います！

この公園は今泉公園という名前ですが、福岡の人たちは皆、この公園を三角公園と呼んでいます！
今泉の中心にある公園で、駅にも近いですが、実際にここで散歩してみたらすごく静かでのんびりとしていて、最高です！

You will find all around the park small stone monuments that recount the story of the park, like for example this one, which explains that in this park once stood the house of famous writer Okuma Gendo.

公園にはこの公園の歴史を語るたくさんの石碑があります。
この写真に写っている石碑に大隈言道という有名な文学者のストーリが書いてあります。

Even though the park is located in a very busy place, it is kind of eerie how it all seems to calm down once you step into the park. You might meet some people from the companies nearby taking a break, don't forget to say hello !

三角公園は近くで働いている人たちの休憩場所にもなっています！公園を利用する常連さん同士で挨拶を交わすこともあったり、こんなところでも福岡の良さを感じることができます☆
