Hello, everyone!

I'm Honami, a new member of SUiTO FUKUOKA. Nice to meet you.
Fortunately, my first day at work is participating in The first anniversary party on 7th August 2016!!
Thank you for coming the party to celebrate us. On the day, there were four activities; Nagashi Somen(White noodles served flowing in a small flume of bamboo), Karuta(traditional Japanese playing cards), Takoyaki and served ice. We enjoyed with participants very much.

 

The tournament game of Hakata dialect Karuta got really excited. It was difficult even for Japanese people to win. At the final round, players were surrounded by many audience.

One of the summer features is Nagoshi Somen in Japan. This time, tomatoes and Shiitake mushrooms were also flown with somen noodles. Participants looked feeling Japanese summer to the heart extent.

 

At the crashed ice activity, each participant enjoyed making her/his own crashed ice.
Macha sirup which was made by a SUiTO sfaff was very tasty and popular!!

 

The last activity was making Takoyaki balls, and I was the person in charge. Some foreigners made Takoyai balls for themselves for the first time, so Japanese participants taught them how to make them.
The Takoyaki balls were more delicious than usual ones because people made them together with having fun.

 

Through this first anniversary party, I could understand what SUiTO FUKUOKA is like.
All the people who have different nationalities, different ages and different occupation were interacting with a sparkling smile.
I was very glad to join such a wonderful party.
I hope SUiTO FUKUOKA will be known to more people.
We will continue to do our best to make it true. Please come to SUiTO FUKUOKA again!!
